A value chain is the chain of production for a commodity, from its origin as raw materials to its marketing and sale as a finished product. Value chain development method has become a widely-used poverty reduction strategy which is centred around the concept of upgrading the chain actors with various capacity development inputs that enables to receive better financial returns from their products. SABAH Nepal mainly focuses on created pro-poor value chain of community niche products and services ensuring sustainable and equitable management of natural resource base. SABAH Nepal works with HBWs/artisans of various sectors across the nation by organizing them into value chain through and community enterprises thereby unlocking of new livelihood opportunities and contributing to their regular income to the maximum number of artisans, at each stage in the value- chain.
